‘Together We Can’

It gives me great joy to pen a few words in this year’s edition of The Kabare Times, school magazine, the heartbeat of our school’s Journalism club. First, I would like to express my deep appreciation to the Board of Management, our dedicated Principal, Madam Wambui Njoroge, the hardworking teaching and non-teaching staff, my fellow parents and all stakeholders who contribute to the success of this great school. Your tireless efforts, discipline, and commitment to excellence continue to shape our daughters into confident, capable, and responsible young women. As parents, we are proud to be part of this journey. We know that raising and educating a girl child is not just a family responsibility, but a societal one. That is why the Parents Association has continued to work closely with the school administration to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for learning.

To our dear students-congratulations for the milestones you have achieved so far. Whether you are in Form two having just adjusted to high school life, or in Form Four preparing for the KCSE examinations, we celebrate each of you. Believe in yourselves. Be disciplined, respectful, and focused. The world is full of opportunities, and with hard work and prayer, nothing is impossible. Always remember, education is the most powerful tool you can use to change your life, your family, and even your country.

In the past year, the Parents of Kabare Girls have contributed and continue to contribute towards the current ongoing construction of modern administration block. It’s a complex. A complex that will house other facilities that will support the new Curriculum Based Education whose first lot of students will join us next year. We believe that when parents are involved, schools become stronger and students achieve more. I want to encourage all parents to stay engaged. Attend meetings, support school programs, and take an active role in your child’s education. Together, we can raise not only academic achievers but also morally upright and socially responsible individuals.

Allow me to appreciate a group of people who are truly the heartbeat of Kabare Girls High School-our beloved teachers.

On behalf of Kabare Girls High School parents, I say thank you. Thank you for the sacrifices you make every day to nurture, teach, guide, and discipline our daughters. You are more than just educators-you are mentors, counsellors, and role models. You step into classrooms with passion and patience, often going beyond your call of duty to ensure no girl is left behind.

We know that teaching is not an easy task. It takes dedication to prepare lessons, mark books, follow up on student performance, and still find time to mentor young minds emotionally and morally. Your work does not end in the classroom-it continues in the lives you shape.

Because of you, our girls are not only passing exams, but they are also growing into confident, responsible, and God-fearing young women. We have seen their transformation, and we give credit where it is due-to you, our teachers.

We appreciate you deeply, and we stand with you in ensuring that Kabare Girls High School remains a centre of academic excellence and character formation.

We pledge our continued support in making your work easier-through infrastructure development, resources mobilisation, and motivation. We believe that a supported teacher is a successful teacher, and a successful teacher builds a successful nation because you are shaping futures, one lesson at a time.

As I conclude, let us continue working together as one team-the Board of Management, the Administration, parents, teachers, students, and the non-teaching staff-for the continued success of Kabare Girls High School. May God bless Kabare Girls, bless our daughters, and bless Kenya.

Thank you.
