omputer Studies is one of the best performed subjects in Kabare Girls' High School. This is occasioned by top-notch academic discipline potrayed by the Computer students and great commitment potrayed by the teacher. The Computer Department has only two personnel; Mrs. Kinanga- The Computer Studies teacher and Madam Beth- The Computer Laboratory Technician.

Computer as a subject has been able to teach students how to navigate the everchanging world of technology by offering innovative Computer lessons in two sections:

i) Computer Programming I – Here, students learn technology basics such as coding implementation, how to operate a computer, carrying out computation, data analysis and so much more.

ii) Computer Programming II – Here, students' coding skills are refined with web development, using HTML, CSS and Javascript. Students also develop skills to enable them work on mini-computers with Raspberry P1 and micro-controllers via Arduino.

Our students, especially the candidates, are well equipped with skills which enabling them develop a well packed system during in their KCSE projects. Computer Studies has also advantaged the students, since they progress from familiarity with technology to deep appreciation for cognitive computing (information processor). In other words, every person is an organic computer with inexhaustible potential to develop 'higher-order' thinking and problem-solving skills.

Computer Studies has also enabled our students to deepen critical thinking by empowering students to grasp complex or abstract ideas and transform them into direct actions. This is evident when students develop a system that can be used to run a company efficiently.

With the above details, I can confidently support and argue that Computer Studies is actually the best subject in our school, therefore, I urge students to embrace and appreciate it
