The Physics department comprises of six teachers; one lady and five gentlemen. The Head of Subject is Mr. Kariuki who is also a KNEC examiner. The students taking Physics in Form Four are 168 while in Form Two are 214 (the greatest number they have recorded ever). The Physics laboratories are all equipped with equipment and apparatus, all thanks to the School's Administration for its finances.
Every Monday from 4:30 to 5:30 pm, the candidates do their practicals with the help of the teachers. Physics in Kabare Girls' has integrated ICT to enhance teaching. They emphasize on taking Physics as it exposes one to many career opportunities in the evolving world of technology e.g. Computer Science and Programming. Physics students compete in KSEF competitions.
Rumours have it that Physics is difficult,

Approach yourself with honesty and
toughness, maintain a kind of spiritual
hygiene; stop the blame-shifting for your
errors and shortcomings and erase the
word 'can't' from your head.”
