The English Department has ten members. This is a team, the team. The unity in the department makes English a subject of choice. No single member works in isolation, members consult each other before teaching thus the performance of English in all the classes is usually at par or with little difference.

When it comes to marking of exams, from form 1 to form 4, we do belt marking. This fastens the marking process and makes all members have a feel of the exam whether they teach a certain class or not.

The Department is blessed to have examiners in all the three papers. The three expedite their prowess in the specific papers which they mark by addressing key issues or basically issues of concern.

The members also orientate new members who join t h e Department. Also members do team teaching. Through the years, the Department has been posting exemplary results in K.C.S.E exam making it among top performing schools in English countrywide
