It is a subject that deals with study of living things. It has three major branches i.e. Botany, Zoology and Microbiology. It also has several minor branches.

This subject helps a learner to join various important careers such as medicine, dentistry, agriculture, public health, veterinary practice and horticulture, public health engineering, forensic science etc.

After the school realized such many opportunities in Biology, it made the subject compulsory to all the students in Kabare Girls' High School. The students are fairing well in the subject and they really like it.

There are some challenges in the subject since it is very wide. This always make teachers to put their heads together so that they can always help students to retain the positive attitude towards the subject. The subject requires some equipment such as microscopes which are very expensive to buy since the school is growing. Long Live Biology.
