Welcome to another exciting year of exploration and discovery in the world of Mathematics as one of the core subjects! Every student has got a passion for numbers and problem solving because Maths is our hobby, we enjoy it.

Over the previous years, the mean has been gradually improving but for last year K.C.S.E 2024 the story was quite different since the mean dropped from 8.1484 to 7.3721. Despite having a negative deviation it is worth noting that the attitude of both the teachers and students for this year is spectacular. The students are self-driven and all have the urge of knowing more about Maths. Our hope this year is to attain a mean of 8.6 and above. It has been noted that the performance has been in all the forms in the Cekena exam and even in the internal contests and symposiums that have been held all along.

Surprisingly, all the external exams we have attended and also have held in our school we have managed to scoop 5 scholarships from Strathmore University from this it is clear that Kabare is going back to its former glory in terms of Mathematics. Every Friday at 4:30pm to 5:30pm, we usually have Maths hour for purpose of testing our skills in speed and accuracy. Form 3’s and Form 2’s have CATs done on the same day. The VALIANTS, the form fours, always have a full Math paper on Sunday. Through this, students get a chance to perfect in Mathematics.
