‘A Season of Change’
‘A Season of Change’
Our year at Kabare Girls High School has been marked by change of guard both in the office of the principal as well as the Board of Management. We released Mrs. Lilian R.W Muhuni who had served graciously as Principal Kabare Girls High School for seven years. Later in the year we released Dr. Zablon Mutongu (BOM Chairman 2021-2025 and BOM member 2015-2025) and a number of BOM members who had honorably offered exemplary leadership to this school for a number of years.
One thing has stood out about the Kabare Girls fraternity in the midst of these changes; resilience and adaptability. The new officers were welcomed and settled in very well.
Our biggest project for year 2025 is to break through in our academic performance to 9.7+. We believe our time is ripe for this and confess that we can do it through Christ who strengthen us. It is my call to all stakeholders to realize that we all have a role to play towards achievement of this goal, be it students, teachers, support staff and BOM. If 9.7 is to be, it is up to each one of us.
We have targets for infrastructural growth especially in the light of incoming CBE Senior School. Again we need to push together to complete the ongoing administration block. It will offer a great face lift to our institution as well as offer physical space needed as we shift into senior school.
Kabare Girls being the leading school of choice in the provision of quality education remains our vision. We are therefore keen on building ourselves towards offering lucrative subject combinations for senior school and broadening learning space for our students by introducing clubs such as Kenya Sign Language, Young Aviation Club of Africa and a School Band. We hope to build a great brand of Kabare Girls’ High School, a brand that our school and all of us at large will be proud to be associated with.
This is our prayer and commitment even as we Pursue Excellence.
