ICT Club
In today's technology-driven world, digital literacy is no longer optional-it is essential. The ICT Club at Kabare Girls' High School provides learners with an exciting platform to explore technology, creativity, and innovation while developing practical skills for the future.
Under the guidance of the club's patron, Mrs. Kinanga, the club has grown into a vibrant community of 103 members who are passionate about solving real-world problems through technology. Every Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., members attend coding sessions where they learn programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and JavaScript, alongside web development using HTML and principles of data security.
Beyond the classroom, members participate in online training programmes during school holidays, earning certificates and scholarships from institutions such as Techsphere Institute of Technology. These opportunities equip learners with valuable technical knowledge and industry-relevant skills.
The club also looks forward to participating in Hackathon competitions scheduled during the August and December holidays, where members will showcase their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. With a growing interest in Artificial Intelligence, coding, and emerging technologies, the ICT Club continues to inspire innovation and prepare students for the digital future.
