The Kabare Girls Debating Club has always been among the most prestigious in the region. There isn't a school within the central region that can't tell you of the prowess of debating possessed by the club. The club is greatly revered by debators in schools like Alliance High School, Baricho High School, Murang'a High School and others.
The club has had a lot of opportunities to compete in great competitions such as The Great Debators Contest where we made it all the way to the semi-finals in 2019. I must say the club is richly endowed with skills, power and command of language all necessary for debating.
All the successes of the club would of course not be possible without our capable patron Mr. Mburu and Ms. Njahi in collaboration with the great officials Phoebe Mumba [class of 2020] and Grace Wambui [class of 2021]. Their dedication and hard-work have pushed the club to its greatness.
Presently the club's activities have been on hold due to the outbreak of Corona Virus, however, there have been efforts to th revive the club such as the auditions that was held on Friday 17 th June and Saturday 18 June of this year.
We hope to continue fanning debating fire to put it on a pedestal. The clubs core values are discipline, commitment, selfmotivation, unity and humility.
As a club we believe that the upholding these values alongside the support of our patron, friends of the club, administration and The Almighty God we can achieve the club's objectives. The objectives are;
